Sailing vacation for beginners

Why you should choose a sailing vacation

For many beginners, a sailing vacation sounds like a distant dream – but today it is easier to realize than ever before.
In this article you can find out how to book your sailing boat easily (with a professional skipper if you wish).

Trying out a sailing vacation – yes or no?

Why you should choose a sailing vacation

A sailing vacation differs fundamentally from traditional forms of vacation. Instead of staying in a hotel room or traveling from place to place by car, you are constantly on the move on the water – with the sea as your backdrop, the wind as your drive and nature as your companion. This brings with it a number of advantages, which we will be happy to explain to you.

In addition to maximum freedom and flexibility, a sailing vacation offers beginners not only breathtaking views and direct contact with nature, but also a completely new vacation feeling. And the best thing is: you don’t need any previous knowledge or a sailing license! You can easily book a fully equipped sailing boat – including a professional skipper if you wish.

Freedom and self-determination

On a yacht, you decide anew every day where you want to go. Would you like to swim in a secluded bay in the morning and explore a charming coastal town in the afternoon? No problem. You design your itinerary entirely according to your wishes – and the skipper will help you discover the best places off the beaten track.

An experience for the senses

Sailing means breathing fresh sea air, listening to the sound of the waves, feeling the sun on your skin and enjoying the most beautiful sunsets from the deck. It is a form of travel that refreshes body and soul in equal measure.

Unforgettable shared experiences

A sailing vacation creates bonding moments – whether with family, friends or your partner. Dropping anchor together, dining under the stars or simply sailing side by side towards the sunset: These experiences bond together and stay in your memory forever. There are no distractions on board due to everyday stress – just time for each other and for the essentials. Sailing is not just a vacation, but real quality time.

Also possible without experience – with skipper on board

Many people believe that a sailing vacation is only for experienced sailors. But the opposite is true: if you have no sailing experience or simply want to relax, you can book a professional skipper at Nautic Alliance at any time.

The skipper

… takes full responsibility for navigation and safety on board
… will take you safely to the most beautiful places in the region
… will be happy to explain the basics of sailing to you if you would like to actively help.

So you can enjoy the trip to the full – without any stress or responsibility. Also ideal for families, couples or groups of friends who want to experience the sea from a completely new perspective.

How does a sailing trip work?

A typical cruise starts on a Saturday with check-in at the base. There you take over your yacht, are briefed on the equipment and – if booked – get to know your skipper. The route for the week is planned individually, always taking into account the weather and wind conditions.

In the following days, you will sail along the coast, stopping in small harbors, unspoiled bays or traditional fishing villages. Depending on the area, there are many opportunities for snorkeling, hiking, sightseeing or enjoying regional specialities.
The trip usually ends back at the starting base – with unforgettable memories in your luggage.
