The charter revenue generated in this way covers the ongoing mooring and maintenance costs and contributes significantly to refinancing—without you having to sacrifice the comfort of a perfectly maintained owner-operated yacht.

That depends largely on your primary intended use and the desired location. If you plan to use the yacht exclusively for private purposes, purchasing it as a private individual is the right approach.
