What is a bareboat charter?
Chartering a yacht without a skipper and crew is known as a “bareboat charter”.
Are you skippering yourself? If you and/or a member of your crew have a sports license and sailing experience, you and the charter guests can sail the yacht yourself.
Depending on the destination, there are further requirements to be met.
The most common types of yacht for bareboat chartering are sailboats and catamarans. You can achieve the classic sailing feeling with a monohull sailing ship, while catamarans offer more space and are very stable on the water.
Either way, with a bareboat charter you are guaranteed an unforgettable adventure and experience as a team!
