Humanity Meets the Sea

Taking joint responsibility for people and the sea: we are committed to protecting our oceans and supporting social projects. From environmental initiatives to children’s aid programs – we combine our commitment to a sustainable future.

Commitment to social and environmental issues

Doing good together.

Many small parts make a big whole – this is the idea behind Nautic Alliance.

Under the heading People & Sea, we would like to present the many initiatives and projects that our members are launching for the community and environmental protection.

Whether through targeted measures to protect the maritime ecosystem or through social projects that support children, families and those in need – every member of Nautic Alliance is involved in their own way, sending a strong signal for sustainable and responsible action.

Making sailing even more environmentally friendly...

Even small changes can make a big difference - if we all join in!

Tips on on-board waste:

  • Avoiding waste starts with shopping: look for environmentally friendly packaging. Buy bulk packs instead of lots of individual packs.
  • Avoid using plastic bags! These are often mistaken for food by marine animals. Incidentally, decomposition takes 10 to 20 years - harmful microplastics are released in the process.
  • Wash your dishes with environmentally friendly detergents and avoid using disposable tableware, cups and plastic straws.
  • Separate your on-board waste carefully! Then dispose of the separated waste in the recycling garbage cans provided in the port!
  • Make sure that packaging is not blown overboard and never throw cigarette butts into the sea.
