Nautic Alliance strategy workshop
Visions meet quality
Klaus Pitter and Marko Zacherl looked back together on the past season and, more importantly, far ahead.
While the last crews are enjoying the end of the 2025 sailing season, preparations for the coming years are already in full swing within the Nautic Alliance.
In a quality and strategy meeting lasting several days, Klaus Pitter (CEO Pitter Yachtcharter) and Marko Zacherl (CEO Sun Charter and Yachten Meltl) had an intensive exchange of views. The aim was to jointly analyze the past season and lay the foundation for a successful future for the entire Nautic Alliance.
Where did the processes work perfectly? Which innovations have delighted guests? And which wishes should be given even greater consideration in the coming years?
These questions were the starting point for new, exciting projects. Projects that will take shape in the coming months – from forward-looking fleet planning and digital tools for easier bookings to innovative services such as extended skipper training or new charter options.
Quality remains the foundation
Ideas and perspectives
The focus of the meeting was on ensuring the high quality standards that are binding for all Nautic Alliance partners. From fleet planning to procedures at the bases, all processes were reviewed in detail and further developed. The consistent focus on clear quality standards ensures that charter guests, yacht investors, suppliers and base personnel benefit equally.
Analysis as the key to further development
One focus of the meeting was a detailed evaluation of the past season: Where were expectations exceeded? Where is there potential for improvement? What wishes and feedback from our guests should be given greater consideration in the future?
This systematic analysis not only serves to prevent errors, but also as a basis for innovations that make sailing vacations even more comfortable.
New projects were also initiated during the meeting, which will be prepared by all teams within the Nautic Alliance in the coming months. These include
- Forward-looking fleet planning for the 2026 season and beyond.
- Digital tools for even simpler and more secure booking processes.
- Extended range of services, including skipper training, additional services and new destinations.
- Highest standards at all bases – from maintenance and equipment to personal support.
The Nautic Alliance thus remains true to its guiding principle: Quality and Service at fair prices.
Quality at fair prices
The guiding principle “Quality and Service at fair prices” has accompanied us for many years and will remain our benchmark in the future.
On a clear course for the 2026 season
The results of the strategy meeting show: The Nautic Alliance is ideally positioned to continue meeting the highest standards in the future.
The special thing about the Nautic Alliance is that it looks at the big picture. Every decision made at these strategy meetings has an impact in several directions:
- For guests: more choice, more comfort, more security.
- For yacht investors and yacht owners: a strong network that maintains and increases the value of their yachts.
- For partners and suppliers: reliable cooperation based on clear quality standards.
“Sailors can already benefit from attractive early booking offers and secure their dream yacht for 2026 – including additional services such as early check-in or discounted equipment options,” emphasizes Marko Zacherl.
The Nautic Alliance is entering the next season with this attitude, combined expertise and clear quality assurance. And one thing is certain: anyone who sets sail with us can rest assured that every detail is taken care of – from the first inquiry to the return to the home port.
“Our aim is not just to rent out yachts, but to make unforgettable sailing vacations possible,” says Klaus Pitter, summarizing the common approach.
